Egg Freezing in Turkey

At DrBeauty, we empower women to take proactive steps in protecting their reproductive health. Whether you’re focused on career, education, personal goals, or simply not ready for motherhood yet, egg freezing offers freedom, flexibility, and peace of mind.

What is Egg Freezing?

Egg freezing, also known as oocyte cryopreservation, allows you to preserve your eggs for future fertility treatments such as IVF. We retrieve, freeze, and store the eggs, and unlike embryo freezing, you don’t need sperm at the time of preservation. This procedure provides a valuable option for women who wish to delay childbearing, for cancer patients preparing for chemotherapy or radiation, for those with a family history of early menopause, for individuals undergoing gender transition treatments, and for anyone concerned about age-related fertility decline.

Who is a Good Candidate for
Egg Freezing?

You may be a good candidate for Egg Freezing if you:

  • Are 25–38 years old and want to preserve fertility
  • Have a known fertility risk (e.g., endometriosis, PCOS)
  • Have not yet found the right partner but want children later
  • Are preparing for IVF or other fertility treatments
  • Wish to keep reproductive options open for the future

How the Egg Freezing Works?

Hormonal blood tests (AMH, FSH, LH) and ultrasound evaluate ovarian reserve and readiness.

For 8–12 days, hormone injections stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs.

Under mild sedation, eggs are collected via a transvaginal procedure lasting 10–15 minutes.

Mature eggs are vitrified (flash frozen) and safely stored in our state-of-the-art cryobank.

  • Day 1–2: Hormone testing and planning
  • Day 3–12: Hormonal stimulation and monitoring
  • Day 13–14: Egg retrieval and cryopreservation
  • Total stay in Turkey: 10–14 days
  •
surgery performed by a surgeon in the operating room
